Dehradun: Her parents, pleading for justice in the much talked about Ankita Bhandari case of Uttarakhand, met CM Pushkar Singh Dhami at the Chief Minister’s residence today. Ankita’s father Virendra Singh Bhandari and mother Soni Devi presented their views before the Chief Minister and expressed their feelings regarding this entire matter.
Ankita’s parents looked very emotional during the meeting. Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami listened to his words with full sensitivity and patience. He assured the family that the entire state government stands firmly with them in this hour of grief. The Chief Minister made it clear that providing justice to Ankita is the biggest priority of his government.
Chief Minister Dhami assured the family that the government is positively considering all their demands to this episode. He said that the government is committed to punishing the culprits and providing all possible help to the family. After this assurance of the Chief Minister, the victim’s family has new hope for justice.
