  • 2-3 tbsp oil
  • 4 garlic cloves
  • ½ tsp red chilli
  • 2 bunches of beetroot leaves
  • salt-as per taste
  • Black pepper-as per taste
  • 1-2 teaspoons lemon juice
  • ½ tsp lemon peel

Know how to make greens from beetroot leaves

  • To make beetroot greens, first wash the leaves thoroughly.
  • After this, wipe the leaves and chop them finely.
  • Now peel the garlic cloves and cut them into four pieces and green chillies.
  • If beetroot leaves are less, you can also add potatoes to it.
  • After this, place the pan on medium flame and add 2 spoons of oil.
  • After the oil is hot, add garlic cloves and green chillies and fry.
  • After frying, add the chopped leaves, stir, cover with a plate and leave for 2-3 minutes.
  • After the time is over, add black pepper to it.
  • After mixing all the ingredients, cook the greens until they wilt.
  • After this, fry it while stirring until the greens become completely clean.
  • Finally add salt and fry for 5 minutes and add lemon juice and turn off the gas.
  • Now serve hot saag with roti or dal-rice.
