Congress President Mallikarjun Kharge and Rahul Gandhi have taken a big decision on the social strategy of the party for the upcoming elections. According to sources, Congress has decided to field the argument of 'whose numbers are greater, his share is greater' in the election field.

It has been agreed at the party leadership level that at present at least 50 percent share in ticket distribution will be given to SC, ST, OBC and minority classes. Its objective will not be limited only to candidate selection, but an effort will be made to maintain social balance in organization and political representation.

Big bet on backward people and minorities

Not only this, Congress is also going to make big changes regarding the faces supporting the party in the media and public forums. Sources say that the spokespersons of the party will be selected from all the small and deprived sections, so that only the faces of the upper castes do not become the voice of the party in the media. Currently, only a few spokespersons in the party come from backward classes and minorities, now there are instructions to give them priority. Like professors Ratanlal, Ravikant, Sadhna Bharti, Gurdeep Sappal.

The Congress leadership believes that the message of social justice and representation will reach the grassroots only when both the face and voice of the party are connected to every section of the society. Rahul Gandhi has already raised the issue of social representation and caste imbalance from many forums, now preparations are on to bring it into organizational decisions.

Efforts to help backward, Dalit and tribal people

According to political experts, this decision is part of the strategy of Congress, through which the party is trying to bring backward, Dalit and tribal voters into its fold once again. This decision can be clearly reflected in ticket distribution and spokesperson list in the coming days.
