Now the festive season is officially over, many of us are feeling the toll of all the excess food, alcohol and harsh winter weather. Thankfully, John Lewis shoppers have stumbled upon a beauty bargain perfect for post-holiday pampering. The After Party Crackerfrom John Lewis, which contains products from luxury brands Medik8 and Elemis, was originally priced at £28, but customers can now snap it up for less than £2 thanks to a double discount.

The cracker is on sale for £16.80, reduced from its initial price of £28. However, those who shop via TopCashback can secure an even better deal.

TopCashback is currently offering new members who sign up through a specific link a £15 bonus when they spend at least £15. With this promotion, new TopCashback members effectively pay just £1.65 for the set after receiving their cashback. Meanwhile, existing TopCashback members can purchase it for £16.65 after cashback.

The package contains four luxury skincare miniatures from well-known brands, which are ideal for popping into a handbag or travel bag. A standout product in the collection is the Medik8 Crystal Retinal 6 Night Serum (4ml).

This overnight serum is said to visibly reduce fine lines and wrinkles, firm and plump the complexion, resurface skin texture, and soften the face. Usually selling at £69 for 30ml, this 4ml tube is valued at £9.20, reports the Liverpool Echo.

The set also features a 15ml Shiseido Vital Perfection Uplifting and Firming Advanced Cream, which the brand suggests can deliver visibly firmer, brighter and more lifted-looking skin in as little as seven days, plus an Elemis Pro-Collagen Vitality eye cream (4ml).

The most generous item in the bundle is a 30ml Kate Somerville ExfoliKate Daily Foaming Cleanser, worth £16 alone. This gentle exfoliating wash incorporates glycolic and lactic acids to help slough away dead skin cells while leaving skin feeling silky and revitalised.

At John Lewis, shoppers have hailed the miniature offerings as brilliant little 'pick-me-ups'. One satisfied buyer shared: "These are super little handbag sized pick me ups. It made my tired face look refreshed. Smelt great, felt smooth going on, not sticky."

Many customers believe the set offers excellent value, with one commenting: "Great gift for beauty product lovers, decent value when compared to purchasing individually."

Though not everyone was thrilled, with one shopper voicing frustration over the product quantities, stating: "Disappointed in the size of the contents. Tiny amount of product."

For anyone thinking about indulging in a luxury skincare sample selection, or searching for an affordable gift for a beauty fan, this John Lewis cracker could be worth grabbing while stocks last.
