The terror of stray dogs has increased so much in Thakurdwara city of Uttar Pradesh that now it has become difficult for people to even leave their houses. For a long time, the residents of the city were worried because of these dogs, but what happened on Thursday created panic in the entire area. A mad dog created havoc in different parts of the city and badly bit and injured three people.
The incident started from Bazaar Ganj area of the city. Local resident Salim Ahmed said that the dog was looking very aggressive since morning. He was trying to pounce on everyone passing by. Meanwhile, the dog suddenly attacked three people including an elderly person. This sudden attack created chaos in the market and people started running here and there to save their lives.
The people injured in the dog attack were immediately taken to the nearest hospital with the help of family members and local people. Doctors provided first aid to the injured and administered anti-rabies injections. It is a matter of relief that the doctors have declared the condition of all the injured to be stable at present. However, after this incident, there is great fear among the children and elders of the city.
Surprisingly, this incident was immediately informed to the municipality and local administration, but the villagers allege that no concrete action has been taken yet. Local citizens say that complaints have been made several times in the past to control the increasing number of stray dogs, but due to the negligence of the administration, the problem remains the same. The people of the locality have now demanded from the municipality that these dogs should be caught by running a campaign as soon as possible, so that no major untoward incident happens.
