In fact, Hyderabad cricket team head coach DB Ravi Teja has made it clear that Tilak's recent surgery was very minor and he will return to the field soon. According to the coach, this 23-year-old left-handed batsman is not a threat for the home T20 series against New Zealand, which is starting from January 21 in Nagpur.

Let us tell you that after getting injured in the match against Bengal during Vijay Hazare Trophy in Rajkot, Tilak had to undergo minor surgery for the problem of testicular torsion. Coach Ravi Teja told that this operation was very simple and Tilak will recover completely in just three-four days. Hyderabad coach told Cricbuzz, 'He had a minor surgery in Rajkot. There is nothing serious or worrying in this. He will recover in three to four days.

The coach further said, 'Tilak is currently with the team and he will go back to Hyderabad with the team. I personally feel that he will be fully fit for the T20 series against New Zealand. He was ready to play today (January 8). We did not want to take any risk because we had no chance of qualifying for the knockouts.
