At the same time, in this season the markets and markets have also become buzzing with green vegetables. The surprising thing is that on one hand the demand for everything from fenugreek-spinach to radish-carrot has increased, while on the other hand the demand for non-veg has decreased.

With the arrival of cold weather, the demand for green vegetables increases rapidly in the markets. The main reason for this is that green leafy vegetables are available in large quantities in this season, due to which people prefer to include them in their diet. Peas, spinach, cabbage, radish and other seasonal vegetables are seen in abundance in the markets during winter and their consumption has also increased.

People are getting fresh vegetables

According to local vegetable traders, both the arrival and sale of green vegetables increase in the cold season. President of the Vegetable Traders Association said that the crop of pea, spinach and cauliflower in the rural areas around Ujjain has been very good this year. Due to this, the arrival of these vegetables has increased in the market, due to which fresh and nutritious vegetables are easily available to the common people.

Green vegetables are beneficial for health

Doctors also believe that green leafy vegetables are not only nutritious but also play an important role in keeping the body healthy and fit. They contain abundant amounts of fiber, protein, vitamins and minerals, which improve digestion and help in increasing immunity.

Non veg sales only 30%

Changes are also being seen in eating habits during the cold season. According to traders, in this season, about 70 percent people prefer vegetarian food, which mainly includes green leafy vegetables, while about 30 percent people prefer non-vegetarian food.
