Trinamool Congress leader Majid Memon demanded an impartial investigation into the Ankita Bhandari murder case. He said that during investigation it should not matter whether a leader is from the opposition or the ruling party. Only an impartial investigation in the case will work to put the accused behind bars.

Speaking to news agency IANS on Saturday, he also objected to viewing the Ankita Bhandari murder case through a political lens. He said that it is completely inappropriate to look at this matter through a political lens.

I see that many people associated with the political world are giving statements on this, this is wrong. We ourselves are coming forward and demanding that this be investigated by an independent agency, so that the truth can be revealed.

Also, he questioned the statement of Congress leader Adhir Ranjan Chaudhary. He said that his entire statement is completely wrong. Various types of allegations are being made against the Chief Minister with the aim of defaming him. But, the truth is that it has been seen across the country that ED action is seen only in the states ruled by opposition parties.

We do not see ED action in those states where BJP is in government. Adhir Ranjan Choudhary is saying that Mamata Banerjee is saving the thieves. Now only after further investigation it will be clear who is saving whom.

At the same time, the TMC leader also reacted on the urban land sealing scam. He said that if any kind of evidence comes to light in this case, it should be investigated, no matter who is involved in it.

He said that CM Devendra Fadnavis and Eknath Shinde are busy campaigning for the Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC) elections. In such a situation, he should also make his stand clear among the people regarding the land sealing scam.

Both these leaders are going among the people and making populist promises. Now these people should also clarify their stand on the land sealing scam, so that people can also know about the current situation of these people.

He said that if necessary, a CBI investigation will have to be conducted in this matter. Not only this, if there is a need for SIT investigation, then there should be no delay, because we want the truth to be known.

Majid Memon also raised questions on ED’s action in West Bengal. He said that when elections are to be held in West Bengal after a few months, then in such a situation the action of ED raises doubts. This action of ED seems to be inspired by BJP. In such a situation, it is natural for questions to arise regarding this.

He said that Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee has even made it clear that even the Union Home Ministry is directly involved in the coal scam. Now it becomes interesting to see what kind of facts emerge in this case in further investigation.

Besides, he also objected to the closure of Vaishno Devi Medical College. He said that by closing Vaishno Devi Medical College, various types of challenges have been systematically created for the Muslim students of Jammu and Kashmir.

If Mata Vaishno Devi Medical College has been closed only because a large number of people from the Muslim community live there, then it is completely wrong from the constitutional and social point of view.
