Azamgarh In the press conference of Azamgarh/Lalganj district held at the Bharatiya Janata Party district office, Azamgarh in-charge and Cabinet Minister, Government of Uttar Pradesh, Anil Rajbhar said that Prime Minister Narendra Modi has passed the very important Ji Ram Ji Act during the winter session. After the passing of this Act, there is going to be a very significant change in the lives of the people living in our villages. Ji Ram Ji Act will make our villages self-reliant, will realize the vision of all-round development within the villages and will make the most important contribution in Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s resolve to make a developed India.

There was a guarantee of 100 days of employment under the MNREGA campaign, but under the new law made by Prime Minister Narendra Modi, there will be a guarantee of 125 days of employment. Through the Ji Ram Ji Act, it is also being ensured that if any worker is working under this scheme, he should be paid within a week. If for some reason his wages are not received within a week, then after a week interest will also be given on his outstanding wages. This campaign was stopped due to shortage of laborers during the farming season.

If due to circumstances it is not possible to provide employment for 125 days in a Gram Sabha, the government will also provide unemployment allowance under this Act. Under the Ji Ram Ji Yojana, it has also been ensured that the entire road map for the development of the village will be made in the Gram Panchayat itself. Now every village has been given the freedom to prepare a road map of the project of their village as per the situation of their village and on the basis of that, make a budget proposal and send it to the government and the government will provide them the budget. It is being seen for the first time in the country that villages are being given complete freedom through this Act.

We all congratulate the government of Prime Minister Narendra Modi that today the Government of India has taken such a big decision which will play an important role in making India a developed nation in the future. Under this scheme, social security is also being provided to the workers in the unorganized sector. Under this Act, the benefits of all the schemes which are given to the workers in the organized sector by the Labor Department will now be made available to the workers in the unorganized sector also.
