Mahindra XUV 7XO: The country’s leading automobile company Mahindra & Mahindra has launched its popular SUV XUV 700 in a new avatar. Mahindra XUV 7XO Has been launched in the name of. This is a powerful 7-seater SUV, whose starting price has been kept at ₹ 13.66 lakh (ex-showroom). Since its launch, its direct competition is being considered with vehicles like Tata Safari, MG Hector Plus and Hyundai Alcazar. In such a situation, the biggest question in the minds of customers is which SUV is heavier in terms of price.
Mahindra XUV 7XO with petrol engine starts at ₹ 13.66 lakh and goes up to ₹ 23.64 lakh. Whereas, for those who like diesel engine, its starting price is ₹ 14.96 lakh and the top model goes up to ₹ 24.92 lakh. Price wise, XUV 7XO targets both affordable to premium customers in its segment.
Tata Safari has been the favorite 7-seater SUV of Indian customers for a long time. At present only diesel version of Safari is available in the market. Its starting price is ₹14.66 lakh, while the top model goes up to ₹25.96 lakh. Although the company has launched the petrol version, its prices have not been revealed yet. In terms of price, Safari is a little more expensive than XUV 7XO, but its status is also quite strong.
MG Motors has recently launched the facelift version of Hector Plus. The petrol engine MG Hector Plus starts at ₹17.29 lakh and the top model goes up to ₹19.49 lakh. The prices of the diesel version are still awaited. In terms of price, Hector Plus proves to be a slightly costlier option than the XUV 7XO, especially in the base variant.
Hyundai Alcazar is the only 7-seater SUV of the company. Prices for the petrol version start from ₹14.50 lakh and go up to ₹21.21 lakh. Whereas the diesel version starts from ₹ 15.49 lakh and goes up to ₹ 21.21 lakh. The price of Alcazar is very close to that of XUV 7XO, which leads to a tough competition between the two.

If we only talk about price then Mahindra XUV 7XO Comes with the lowest starting price, making it budget friendly. Tata Safari is more premium, MG Hector Plus is higher in price and Hyundai Alcazar seems to be a balanced option. Ultimately the customer’s need, budget and brand preference will decide which 7-seater SUV is best for him.
