Talking about the powertrain, the Mahindra XUV400 EV offers customers a choice of two battery packs. The engine of the car is powered by an electric motor which is capable of generating 150bhp of maximum power and 310Nm of peak torque. The 34.5kWh battery pack has a claimed range of 375km on a full charge, while the 39.4kWh battery pack has a claimed range of 456km on a full charge.
