A heart-wrenching incident has come to light in Sindh province of Pakistan. Here 23 year old Hindu farmer Kailash Kohli was shot dead. The allegation is that his landlord shot him only because he was building a small hut on his land. After this incident, tension spread in the area and the Hindu community organized massive protests.
This incident took place on January 4 in Talhar village of Badin district of Sindh. Whose information has now come to light. According to the police, Kailash Kohli was building a shelter to live on the land, which is said to belong to the landlord Sarfaraz Nizamani. There was a dispute between the two regarding this matter. In anger, Nizamani opened fire on Kailash. Kailash was taken to the hospital, where he died.
After the incident, accused Sarfaraz Nizamani fled from the spot and remained hidden for several days. Badin Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) Qamar Raza Jaskani said that a special police team was formed to arrest the accused. Finally, on Saturday night, the police arrested Sarfaraz Nizamani and his associate Zafarullah Khan from Fateh Chowk area of Hyderabad.

The deceased's brother Poon Kumar Kohli lodged an FIR in the police station, after which the police intensified the investigation.
Shiva Kachi, a social activist working for Hindu minorities, said that the arrest of the accused was possible due to public pressure. He said that the protest continued until Sindh IG Police Javed Akhtar Odho called the father of the deceased and informed him about the arrest. Kachi expressed hope that there will be a fair hearing in the case, so that the Hindu community remains confident in the administration and the justice system.
