No final decision has been taken yet on the issue of stray dogs. The hearing on this is still going on. Meanwhile, famous Bollywood and Punjabi singer Mika Singh has talked about taking big steps for the voiceless and has also made a special appeal to the Supreme Court of the country. Taking his step forward for the dogs, Mika has said that he is ready to donate 10 acres of his land keeping in mind their care and condition.

My only request is to help in the form of suitable human resources and caretakers capable of taking responsible care of these animals. “I am ready to make land available for the construction of shelters and all initiatives aimed at ensuring the safety, health and well-being of dogs.”
