It is written in this picture that Trump took over as the acting President of Venezuela on January 20, 2025 and he will remain in this post till January 2026. In this, US Vice President JD Vance has also been mentioned as his vice president (deputy).
The picture that Trump has shared on Truth Social is an edited picture. The photo has been tampered with. Actually no such information is available on Wikipedia page. Currently, there is no official document or legal framework that shows that the President of the United States is the acting President of Venezuela.
Despite claims made online, Wikipedia or other widely used public records do not list Donald Trump as acting president of Venezuela.
This claim by Trump came a few weeks after the incident when America launched a military attack in Venezuela. During this operation, Venezuelan leader Nicolas Maduro and his wife Cilia Flores were captured and taken to New York, where both are being tried on charges related to narco-terrorism conspiracy.
Both are kept in the Metropolitan Detention Center in Brooklyn. However, Maduro has denied all these allegations.

Since attacking Venezuela and capturing Maduro, Trump has been continuously saying that the US will monitor the Venezuelan administration until a safe, just and judicious transition is completed.
Venezuela's Vice President and Oil Minister Delcy Rodriguez was formally sworn in as the country's interim president last week, following Maduro's ouster. Rodriguez, a 56-year-old lawyer and senior leader of the ruling political movement, took the oath in front of the National Assembly, which is headed by her brother Jorge Rodriguez.
On one hand, Trump has recently attacked Venezuela. On the other hand, Trump has also warned Cuba, a country close to Venezuela, by posting a post on Truth Social. He said that the oil supply and economic aid to Cuba from Venezuela would be stopped.
