Trump : In reaction to events in Iran, US President Donald Trump said that the US is weighing “very strong options” as reports suggested that people may have been killed, leading to a heightened military review.

On his way back to the White House from Florida on Sunday, Trump told reporters on Air Force One, “They’re starting to, it looks like, and there seem to be some people killed that aren’t supposed to be killed.” If you call them leaders, they are violent. I’m not sure whether they are leaders or if they just use violence to control.

According to Trump, the US military is keeping a careful eye on the situation. “We’re taking it extremely seriously. The military is investigating it, and we have some excellent possibilities. We’ll decide,” he said.

The President refused to provide precise military preparations when asked whether Iran had crossed a red line. “Am I really—are you asking me to tell you what they’re going to do? Where are we going to attack? “When will we attack, and from what angle?” he asked.

Trump claimed to be getting regular briefings on the Iranian situation. “We will make a decision after I receive an hourly report,” he said.

When questioned about reports of protester fatalities, Trump claimed that crowd dynamics were to blame for some of the deaths. The stampeding claimed the lives of a few demonstrators. He said, “I mean, there are so many of ’em, and some were shot.”

Trump gave a direct warning in response to inquiries about potential reprisal by Iran or its allies. “We will hit them at levels they have never been hit at before if they do that,” he said. “They won’t even accept it.”

Iran should already be aware of the US’s commitment, he added. Trump asked a reporter, “Don’t you think they take your threats seriously?” “I was hit, Soleimani, al-Baghdadi, and the Iran nuclear threat was eliminated after years of going through it.”

Trump did not specify if he had discussed a response with US allies or when he would make a decision.

In recent weeks, Iran has seen many waves of protests. In Iranian cities all around the nation, thousands of people are demonstrating against the present government.
