Malayalam film ‘Eko’ has been getting strong love from viewers after its theatre and OTT release. Now, actor Dhanush has shared his thoughts on the film. Taking to his official X (formerly Twitter) handle, he praised the movie and its lead actress.

Tamil star Dhanush wrote, “EKO the Malayalam film is a masterpiece. Actor Biana Momin deserves all the highest honours. World class performance.” His words made fans of the film very happy. Many viewers shared the post and spoke about the film again. The praise from Dhanush has given the film fresh attention across languages.

Story set in a quiet hill region‘Eko’ tells the story of an elderly woman named Mlaathi Chedathi. She lives alone in a quiet hilly place called Kattukunnu, near the Kerala–Karnataka border. Her children live far away. Her only human support is her caretaker Peeyos. Life looks calm on the outside, but there is fear under the silence. Mlaathi is one of the many wives of Kuriyachan, a dangerous dog breeder. He is hiding from the state and a terror group.

Secrets and doubt everywhere in the filmKuriyachan is not seen in the film, but his shadow is everywhere. As days pass, Mlaathi and Peeyos slowly learn dark truths about him. Each truth brings more fear. Every person begins to doubt the other.
