Voting has ended for 29 municipal body elections in Maharashtra including BMC. Voting was completed peacefully at all polling stations. Its results will be declared tomorrow i.e. Friday. Earlier, after the end of voting on Thursday, the exit polls of Axis My India were revealed. In this exit poll, BJP Plus seems to be getting majority.

According to Axis My India's exit poll, BJP Plus is likely to get 131-151 seats. Whereas, if we talk about Congress Plus, it may get 12-16 seats in the exit poll of Axis My India. On the other hand, UBT Plus is likely to get 58-68 seats in the exit poll. Whereas others may get 6-12 seats. Voting took place for a total of 227 wards in the BMC elections.

1700 candidates were in the fray for BMC elections. There were 822 male candidates and 878 female candidates.

Who gets what percentage of votes?

If we talk about party wise vote share, BJP and Shinde faction's Shiv Sena have got 42 percent votes. In this, BJP got 28 percent votes and Shinde's Shiv Sena got 14 percent votes. On the other hand, UBT-MNS and NCP Sharad Pawar faction got 32 percent votes. Of these, UBT got 24 votes, MNS got 7 and Sharad Pawar's party got 1 percent votes. At the same time, if we talk about Congress Plus (Congress, VBA and RSP), then this alliance has got 13 percent votes while others have got 13 percent votes.

In the BMC elections, the BJP-Shiv Sena alliance was competing with the NCP and the Thackeray brothers. Everyone's marriage is set on Mumbai's BMC with its Rs 70 thousand crore budget. Its results will come on 16 January. Only then will we know whose coin will prevail in Mumbai.
