His wife was in her parents' home. One day all three friends were sitting and talking.

Meanwhile, a Brahmin friend said that a house where there is no woman becomes a home for ghosts. As soon as the rich man's son heard this, he made up his mind that he would bring his wife from her maternal home. Then the next day he started getting ready to bring his wife from her parents' home. When the parents of the rich son came to know about it, they told him that Venus is now setting, which is considered to be the factor of happiness in married life.

In such a situation, you should not bring your wife back from her parents' house right now, but the rich son did not listen to his parents and went out to bring his wife. When the rich son reached his in-laws' house, his in-laws and father-in-law explained to him the same thing which his parents had explained to him, but the rich son remained adamant on his insistence and in the end the in-laws sent their daughter away.

When both the husband and wife were traveling on a bullock cart, the wheel of the bullock cart broke on the way and the leg of the bull also broke. Both of them also suffered injuries. Later, the bandits also looted all the wealth of the rich man's son. With great difficulty, when the rich man reached home with his son and his wife, he was bitten by a snake. When his father took him to the doctor, the doctor declared him dead after three days.

When his Brahmin friend came to know about the snake bite of the rich man's son, he went to meet the rich man's son. He asked the father of the rich son to send his son and his wife back to their in-laws' home. Because Venus has set and he has brought his wife. The Brahmin son told the rich son's father that after his son reaches his in-laws' house, if he pleases Lord Shiva by observing Shukra Pradosh fast, then his son will be saved.

After this, the father of the rich son agreed with the Brahmin son and sent his son and his wife to his in-laws' house. Then observed Shukra Pradosh fast as per the rituals and worshiped Lord Shiva. Due to this, the condition of the rich man's son improved and the troubles of his life went away.
