Internet shut down…so how did you talk to the family?
An MBBS student who returned from Iran said that she had definitely heard about the protests, but due to lack of internet, she was not able to get correct information. Many Indians said they were not able to contact their families, adding to the fear and anxiety. Another citizen said, "When we went out, protesters would come in front of our car. The atmosphere was scary. There was no internet, so we could neither tell the family nor contact the embassy."
