How can it happen when Pakistan cricket team is on the field and there is no drama or comedy? Whether it is taking a catch, sometimes stopping the ball or sometimes scoring a run, Pakistani players leave no stone unturned in turning any situation into comedy or tragedy during the match. Fans all over the world have now become habituated to seeing the senior Pakistan team doing this. But it seems that after watching the senior team, the junior team has also developed this habit. If anyone does not believe then they can see the run out of Pakistani batsman in Under-19 World Cup 2026.
In this tournament which started in Zimbabwe and Namibia, the Pakistani team played its first match against England. In this match, Pakistan's bowlers did wonders and restricted England to just 210 runs, but after this the batsmen disappointed the team and the entire team collapsed for just 173 runs. England won this match by a good margin of 37 runs. Pakistan's batting was not only a flop but the manner in which the match ended again exposed the lack of understanding among Pakistani players to the world.
It is about the third ball of the 47th over. Pakistani batsman Momin Qamar played a shot and went out for runs. Both the batsmen crossed each other without any difficulty. Momin, who made the shot, reached inside the crease at the other end but the other batsman Ali Raza did something which surprised everyone. Although Raza had reached the crease on time, but before placing the bat, he suddenly stopped and started looking at the ball.

But by then the ball was caught by England's wicketkeeper captain Thomas Rieu. Before Raza could show his agility and reach inside the crease, Ryu ran him out. Seeing the replays, it seemed that perhaps Raza had stopped to save himself from being hit by the ball. Perhaps he was also thinking that since the crease was very close, he would reach inside the crease before the keeper could catch the ball. But both these mistakes cost him dearly and he was run out.
Actually, it was the pair of number 10 and 11 and they had the challenge of scoring 38 runs. That means Pakistan's defeat seemed certain but anything can happen in cricket at any time. In such a situation, if they had not made a mistake then perhaps the situation could have changed. Even if this was not the case, at least Pakistan cricket would not have become a joke. This was a completely surprising run out in itself. Even before this, many times strange run outs have been seen in the senior team of Pakistan, when both the batsmen used to stand at the same end. But this is a new level in itself.
