This Sankranti, which starts with the entry of Sun God from Libra to Scorpio, is not only considered very important from the astrological point of view, but according to mythological beliefs, this day is considered a special occasion of energy, penance, offering to ancestors and charity. Right from the morning, a huge crowd of devotees gather at different pilgrimage sites, rivers and sun temples of the country.
