Traffic diverted for India-New Zealand match in Indore, know the new route

Indore: A match between India and New Zealand is going to be held in Indore on Sunday, January 18, in the economic city of Madhya Pradesh. For which preparations are going on in full swing in the entire city. There was such a huge demand for tickets that all the tickets were sold within 8 minutes. Due to the match, crowds of cricket lovers are gathering from Hotel Radisson to Holkar Stadium. People are seen waiting desperately to get a glimpse of their favorite player. Keeping this in view, the police and administration have made strict and hi-tech security arrangements. The city is on high alert mode.

Stadium area no-flying zone

According to the information, Holkar Stadium and its 5 kilometer radius have been declared as no-flying zone. Flying drones and kite flying has been banned in this area. Let us tell you that in view of the security arrangements, more than 1500 policemen will be deployed around the stadium. The security arrangements have been divided into four sectors and surveillance will be maintained from big buildings with CCTV cameras. Besides, the Crime Branch will keep a special vigil on those involved in black marketing of tickets.

Traffic diversion on match day

Traffic diversion will remain in force on many major roads of the city from 12 noon tomorrow till the end of the match. Movement of normal vehicles will be stopped on these routes. Only possessors and emergency vehicles will get entry.

These routes will remain mainly closed in the city.

  • Ghantaghar to Zanjeerwala
  • Lantern to Palasia
  • Ghantaghar to High Court

Parking arrangements for spectators

Parking facilities will be available at Yashwant Club, Abhay Prashal, Basketball Ground, Vivekananda School, Bal Vinay Mandir, GSITS and Pancham Ki Field for the spectators coming to watch the match. The police administration has appealed to the citizens to use only the designated parking spaces and follow the traffic rules. The administration says that complete preparations have been made regarding security and traffic arrangements, so that the spectators can enjoy the exciting match without any hassle.
