Her tone mixes sarcasm, frustration and protectiveness, reflecting the emotions of someone who feels tested but not defeated.

Sunita also speaks candidly about family responsibilities, stressing that certain priorities should come before anything else. She appears disappointed about Govinda’s limited involvement in shaping their son Yash’s career, pointing out that despite being a star’s child, Yash had to find his own way. Her comments suggest that she expected more support and guidance from Govinda as a father, something she says she has openly confronted him about. She also added that she had to remind Govinda of his responsibility of a father to get their daughter married.

Despite these sharp remarks, Sunita has consistently dismissed divorce rumours whenever asked. Earlier this year, during a public festival appearance, she confidently shut down speculation by highlighting how close she and Govinda still are. She made it clear that if there were serious issues, their bond would not look the way it does. According to her, no external force can come between them and she firmly claims Govinda as her own.

Govinda and Sunita married in 1987 and kept their relationship private until the birth of their daughter Tina in 1989.
