'Anupamaa' January 19 written update: Parag stops demolition and sides with Anupama against Rajni

The latest episode of ‘ Anupamaa ’ begins with her still reeling from the reality that Rajni and Parag both betrayed her trust. Preet comments about how the politician has finally shown her true colors in front of everyone.
Rahi calls out Anupama for not listening to herRahi also comments that Anupama should have listened to her. She says that she warned her several times and had even told her to check the papers before signing anything. She expressed that both she and Prem had doubts about the whole situation, as Rajni would often take the papers with her everywhere, including her own son’s wedding.
Rajni continues to blame AnupamaRajni continues to blame Anupama for everything. She even tells all of the chawl members that Anupama knew of the deal, and that she has gotten a penthouse in return for signing the documents. She further alleges that it was Anupama who had been forcing her to move forward with the demolition of the chawl. Anupama completely denies all of the allegations and shares that she was not aware of anything that Rajni had been doing regarding this. Anupama also pleads to Rahi and Prerna to help her prove her innocence to the chawl members.
Parag stands with AnupamaAmidst all of this, Parag supports Anupama and tells Rajni that if she continuously says that she was not made aware of anything, then he fully trusts her. Rajni tells him to mind his own business and to simply invest his money in the project. She tells him that she will take care of everything and that he does not have to worry about the drama.
The residents blame Anupama for everythingThe residents of the chawl do not believe Anupama’s pleas and instead start blaming her for ruining their lives. As the bulldozer is started again, Anupama moves in front of it and lies on the floor, saying that if the demolition has to happen, it will happen over her body. Prem and Rahi step in just in time and stop her from doing anything rash. Sarita and all of the chawl members continue to blame Anupama for selling the chawl and reaping all of the advantages herself.
Prem urges Parag to reconsider and understand the situation. He tells him to trust Anupama completely, to which he says and asks if there is any proof of her innocence. Prem counters and says that there is no proof that Rajni’s words are correct or not, either.
After much consideration, Parag tells the bulldozer to stop the demolition and leave for the timebeing. The workers leave; however, they return once more with the police. Rajni takes Anupama to the side and tells her that she should just keep quiet and side with her for her own benefits.
Parag refuses to work with RajniAs he realizes his mistake, Parag tells Rajni that he does not wish to go forward with the project. He tells Rajni that what she did was wrong and that he does not want to get the residents' curses. Rajni tells him to stop complaining and comments about how if he steps away from the project, he will take his whole family into the ground.
The episode ends with Anupama finally understanding what Rajni did to her. Preet talks to her about the matter, asking what is supposed to happen now. Anupama apologizes and says that she was unaware of the file and never had it rechecked, which is the first thing she should have done.
