The CBSE has confirmed that the CTET 2026 exam will take place on Sunday, February 8, 2026. This examination will be conducted offline using OMR sheets. Successful candidates will have the opportunity to teach in both government and private educational institutions.
The CTET will be administered in two shifts: Paper-II, which is for classes 6 to 8, will run from 9:30 AM to 12:00 PM, while Paper-I, for classes 1 to 5, will take place from 2:30 PM to 5:00 PM. Candidates are advised to arrive at their exam centers at least one hour before the exam begins.
