Karan Johar, (News), Mumbai: Veteran Bollywood filmmaker Karan Johar has a deep understanding of fashion along with films. These days Karan is hosting a podcast for a clothing brand. In its recent episode, Neeti Mohan, Shakti Mohan and Mukti Mohan arrived as guests. During this, while talking to him, Karan shared an incident from his debut and blockbuster film Kuch Kuch Hota Hai. During the shooting, Salman Khan was adamant and due to his insistence, Karan Johar started crying.
Let us tell you that Shahrukh Khan and Kajol played lead roles in Kuch Kuch Hota Hai. While Rani Mukherjee played a supporting role. In this, Salman Khan played a supporting character named Aman and he was successful in leaving his mark. Karan had also approached actors like Saif Ali Khan and Chandrachud Singh for this role. But, it did not work out. Later Salman himself came to Karan Johar to do this role. But, on the very first day of shooting, he created a lot of tension for Karan.
Karan Johar told that on the very first day of shooting he went to meet Salman Khan in his vanity van. Salman was sitting there wearing jeans and T-shirt. Salman had to shoot the song Saajan Ji Ghar Aaye. Salman had given a strange suggestion to Karan and said, look Karan, if for the first time a groom enters in jeans and T-shirt, then it will become a new trend.
I will show my swag in this. Whereas Karan was planning something else and he wanted to see Salman in a suit. A big set was also prepared for this. Understanding Salman, Karan had said, Salman, the set is very spectacular and Kajol is also wearing a very heavy lehenga, in such a situation how will jeans-t-shirt work? But, Salman was adamant on his point.
Karan Johar became very thoughtful after listening to Salman. Then he started crying in front of Salman. Salman changed his mind after seeing Karan emotional. Salman said to Karan, oh no, no, don’t cry, I will wear the suit. After this Salman and Karan shot the song.
