Arsenal are among a list of clubs tracking Brazilian wonderkid Rafael Belinho, who has drawn comparisons to former Gunners striker Eduardo.

Much like the former Croatia international, Belinho was born in Brazil but moved to Croatia as a youngster before joining Dinamo Zagreb. He also now holds a Croatian passport.

Belinho is a left-footed winger, who can also operate as a No.10 and he's on the radar of a series of top clubs including Arsenal, Manchester United, Barcelona and Real Madrid.

He has just snubbed an initial three-year contract with Dinamo Zagreb to join NK Kustosija.

His agent Andy Bara is an investor at the third-tier club, though their U19 side play in the top tier of Croatian football, and has already facilitated the transfers of Mika Faye and Lovro Chelfi from Kustosija to Barcelona.

There's optimism Belinho is ready to follow suit once he has turned 18 in January 2027.

Nonetheless, other clubs are also in contention for his signature and Football.London can reveal his representatives were in Germany in the past few days for talks with Dortmund.

Barca are considered frontrunners as their sporting director Deco has a close working relationship with Bara.

Not only that but last September, he was also in Zagreb for a business meeting and met with Belinho and his father.

Posting on Instagram, the teenager recently said following his decision to leave Dinamo: “It has come time to take a new step. After careful consideration and consulting with my family, I have decided to move forward to continue my development. I believe it is the best decision for me and my family at this moment."

Both Arsenal and Manchester United have recently invested in new signings for their youth team set-up, though they wouldn't be able to conclude a deal for Belinho until he has turned 18 due to Brexit regulations.

In December, the Gunners reached a double agreement with Ecuadorian outfit Independiente del Valle for the arrivals of Edwin and Holger Quintero.

Republic of Ireland U17 midfield starlet Victor Ozhianvuna is also due to land in north London from Shamrock Rovers in 2027.

Meanwhile, Manchester United have also wrapped up the signing of Colombian midfielder Cristian Orozco from Fortaleza.
