On Friday, Prime Minister Narendra Modi inaugurated and laid the foundation for several development projects in Kerala, while also flagging off new train services.

He launched three Amrit Bharat Express trains along with a passenger train connecting Thrissur and Guruvayur, enhancing regional rail connectivity among Kerala, Tamil Nadu, Karnataka, Telangana, and Andhra Pradesh.

Additionally, Modi laid the groundwork for the CSIR-NIIST Innovation, Technology, and Entrepreneurship Center and introduced the 'PM Svanidhi Credit Card', which offers an interest-free revolving credit facility linked to UPI.

During the event, he distributed loan amounts and credit cards to various beneficiaries under the PM Svanidhi scheme. Furthermore, he inaugurated a state-of-the-art radiosurgery center at the Shri Chitra Tirunal Institute for Medical Sciences and Technology and opened the new Poojappura main post office.
