Taking a dig at India's neighborhood policy, Congress MP Manish Tewari said that India has a 'Neighbourhood First' policy, but does any neighboring country of India have an 'India First' policy? He said that I think this is the basic question which every strategic thinker, whether in the government or outside, should answer. He said that Pakistan is a completely different matter.
Manish Tewari said that Pakistan will never reform its habits, mainly because it is an army that runs a state, not a state that has an army. He said that its effect is visible in the form of cross-border terrorism which they are spreading.

Manish Tewari said that as far as the rest of India's neighbors are concerned, it is fundamentally important that we reconsider and answer the question to ourselves that when we have a 'Neighborhood First' policy, then why do none of India's neighboring countries have an 'India First' policy?
Recently, on January 12, former Union Minister and Congress MP Manish Tewari's new book, A World Adrift, was launched at the India International Center (IIC) in New Delhi. On this occasion, the collapse of the post-war global order, India's strategic dilemmas and the rapid pace at which global politics is changing. All these topics were discussed in detail. The book was launched by former Union Finance Minister and veteran diplomat Yashwant Sinha at the Multi-Purpose Hall of Kamala Devi Complex.
Regarding this book, Yashvand Sinha had said that today Parliament does not even have time to discuss serious issues. In many ways, things that are not important have taken center stage. Sinha argued that it is more than just an MP's perspective, offering a detailed analysis of rapid global changes.
