The match took place on Monday, with goals from Alexander Hendrickx (4', 27') and Dilpreet Singh (25') leading the Lancers to victory. For the Royals, Araijeet Singh Hundal (9') and Captain Tom Boon (59') found the back of the net, as reported by Hockey India.
The Hockey India League announced a total prize pool of Rs 3 crores for the champions, Vedanta Kalinga Lancers, while the runners-up, Ranchi Royals, received Rs 2 crores. The Hyderabad Toofans, who secured third place, were awarded Rs 1 crore. The Fairplay Award went to HIL GC. Notably, Tamil Nadu Dragons' goalkeeper Prince Deep Singh was recognized as the Best Goalkeeper of the Tournament, alongside Talem Priyobarta from HIL GC, who was named the Upcoming Player of the Tournament, with both receiving Rs 10 lakhs each. Tom Boon of Ranchi Royals was the tournament's top scorer with 19 goals, earning Rs 10 lakhs, while Amandeep Lakra from Hyderabad Toofans was honored as the Hero Player of the Tournament, receiving Rs 20 lakhs.
