The Common Management Admission Test (CMAT 2026) was conducted by the National Testing Agency on January 25, 2026 in single shift in computer based test mode. After the completion of the examination, candidates are now waiting for the answer key and response sheet. NTA has not yet made any official announcement regarding this. Looking at the trends of previous years, it is being estimated that the answer key may be released on 31 January or the first week of February. Last few years it has been seen that NTA releases the answer key within 5 to 6 days after the exam is over. In 2025 the exam was held on 25th February. The answer key was released on 31 January. Candidates were given a chance to file objections till 2 February 2025.
In 2024, the exam was held on 15 May, the answer key and response sheet was released on 23 May. The exam was held on 4th May in 2023. The answer key was released on 12 May.
The provisional answer key will be released along with the response sheet on the official website. To register objection on this, candidates will have to pay a fee of Rs 200 per question. The answer key will be available only for 2 to 3 days. The challenges will be reviewed by experts. Challenges registered through the correct website will be accepted during the stipulated time. Objections lodged without any reason or evidence will not be considered. After this the final answer key will be released. The results will be based on this.
