Emmerdale's Ruby Miligan is renowned for her stormy marriage to Caleb, but away from the cameras, Beth Cordingly enjoys a relationship with a famous long-term partner.

Beth became part of the ITV soap in 2024, arriving in the Dales as Caleb Miligan's (William Ash) estranged wife, and she quickly made her mark.

Later that year, Ruby found herself at the heart of a distressing historic child abuse storyline involving her father, Anthony Fox (Nicholas Day). She subsequently learnt that her daughter, Steph (Georgia Jay), was Anthony's biological child, though Caleb pledged to support his family.

Ruby also had a brief affair with her brother-in-law, Cain Dingle (Jeff Hordley), but strained family relationships have since been mended.

Beyond all the turmoil in the Dales, Ruby actress Beth Cordingly enjoys a far more peaceful existence with her long-term partner Ian Kelsey, who also previously appeared in Emmerdale, reports the Daily Star.

Soap enthusiasts will remember Ian as Dave Glover on Emmerdale from 1994 until his character's death in 1997. He also featured in Coronation Street as Vinny Ashford from 2016 to 2017.

Ian has also appeared in numerous other programmes, including Wuthering Heights, Innocent, The Suspect, Moving On, and Where the Heart Is.

Beth, 49, and Ian, 59, have reportedly been acquainted for more than two decades and started dating in 2021.

Discussing her relationship, Beth previously told The Mirror: "I am very in love with Ian and very happy. I think it really does work him being an actor too. He has been so fantastic.

"There is that thing as an actor where you are always taken away from home. But he totally gets it. He knows a lot of the crew and cast, and so it's lovely to be able to share what I've been up to, knowing he understands."

Beth frequently updates her followers about her romance with Ian via Instagram. Last December, she posted an endearing video of herself serenading him with 'Happy Birthday' after making a lengthy journey to celebrate with him.

Her caption read: "Travelled down 5h to do this....(lucky him. So tuneful.) Happy birthday, gorgeous one. woo hoo."

In a separate post, Beth shared a candid snapshot of Ian, accompanied by the simple caption: "Yep (white love heart)".

The couple's admirers flooded the comments section with affectionate messages, with one fan gushing, "You guys are the cutest."

Another enthused: "Cuteeeeeeee", whilst a third added: "You two are great together."
