On Tuesday (27 January 2026) morning, fog was seen in Mathura, Aligarh, Hathras, Agra, Prayagraj, Lalitpur, Jhansi, Mahoba, Hamirpur, Kanpur, Banda, Chitrakoot, Kaushambi, Fatehpur, Etawah, Auraiya, Kannauj, Mainpuri, Etah and Farrukhabad.

According to the latest daily report (28 January 2026) of Meteorological Center (IMD), Lucknow, the weather is likely to remain dry in Western Uttar Pradesh from 29 to 31 January and in Eastern Uttar Pradesh from 29 January to 1 February. Dense fog is expected in the morning and evening in eastern and western Uttar Pradesh from 28 to 30 January. Due to the effect of western disturbance which became active on January 30, there is a possibility of rain and thundershowers in western Uttar Pradesh from February 1 to 3. There is a possibility of rain at isolated places in eastern Uttar Pradesh on 2-3 February, during which there will be fluctuations in maximum and minimum temperatures.

Deoria, Gorakhpur, Sant Kabir Nagar, Basti, Kushinagar, Maharajganj, Siddharth Nagar, Gonda, Balrampur, Shravasti, Bahraich, Lakhimpur Kheri, Sitapur as well as surrounding areas including Saharanpur, Shamli, Muzaffarnagar, Baghpat, Meerut, Bijnor, Amroha, Moradabad, Rampur, Bareilly, Pilibhit, Shahjahanpur, Sambhal and Badaun. There is a possibility of dense fog.
