*Warning - this article contains spoilers for Fallout season 2 and in particular episode 7*.
A legendary performer from the Fallout gaming franchise has made a comeback in Prime Video's live-action series.
The second season has witnessed a significant surge in Easter Eggs and nods to the original games, particularly featuring numerous connections to the beloved title Fallout New Vegas.
This encompasses several of the programme's most prominent guest appearances, many of whom share substantial ties to the original franchise.
Viewers have already delighted in Ron Perlman's cameo. Whilst he's been the voice of the games' narrator since the inaugural release, in the series he portrays the super mutant who rescues the Ghoul from descending into a feral state and perishing from his wounds.
The most recent episode, which dropped this morning (January 28) at the revised broadcast time of 2am, has introduced another familiar face. But what role do they take on in the programme and how are they linked to the franchise?

Who does Clancy Brown play in Fallout?
The seventh episode follows Cooper Howard as he continues to navigate his clandestine struggle against Vault-Tec whilst determining the right course of action. He remains in Las Vegas with his wife following the revelation that she's arrived to market cold fusion, a breakthrough technology offering limitless energy , reports the Mirror.
Viewers have already seen Cooper and Barb successfully remove the cold fusion device from Hank's neck, mirroring the method Dr Siggi Wilzig used to smuggle it from the Enclave in the first season - the very reason Lucy had to safeguard his severed head during her original quest.
Earlier, Cooper struck a deal with Representative Diane Welch, the congresswoman representing Glendale. Whilst he has some faith in her allegiances, he remains cautious about placing the cold fusion directly into her hands.
Therefore, he opts to deliver it to the President of the United States - the final individual to occupy the office before nuclear devastation struck. The role is portrayed by the distinguished Clancy Brown.
Brown provided his vocal talents to the original Fallout game in 1997, voicing Rhombus, the head paladin and head knight of the Brotherhood of Steel's Lost Hills chapter.
The performer boasts an impressive career, recognised for his appearances in films including The Shawshank Redemption and Starship Troopers, alongside his extensive voice acting portfolio beyond Fallout.
His credits include Dr Neo Cortex in the Crash Bandicoot franchise and the iconic Mr Krabs in SpongeBob SquarePants, a role he has maintained since 1999.
Fallout is streaming on Prime Video.
