Alan Carr is reportedly lined up for a new Amazon Prime Video series following his triumph on Celebrity Traitors, which would mark his third project with a streaming giant. The comedian made history on BBC One's Celebrity Traitors, becoming the competition's first celebrity champion last year.

His standout performance on the programme appears to have caught the attention of major streaming platforms, with multiple projects reportedly in development. Last week, Disney+ confirmed Alan would front Castle Man, a new docuseries documenting his journey to purchase and restore a castle to mark his 50th birthday.

Announcing the programme, Alan quipped: "Some men when they have a midlife crisis buy a Lamborghini or grow a ponytail, but me - I want my very own castle," adding: "All I want is a turret to call my own - get me over that drawbridge!"

According to The Sun, Alan has additional ventures underway with both Netflix and Amazon Prime Video, reports the Mirror.

Reports suggest he's collaborating with BBC colleague Amanda Holden on a Netflix project, with an industry source teasing that it represents a "departure" from their renovation work, "but still focuses on something close to their hearts".

Meanwhile, the Amazon Prime venture reportedly involves touring alongside fellow comedians. An insider suggested to the publication that the BBC is "likely to be peeved".

The source explained: "The first being he had a huge boost on one of their shows but he hasn't announced anything new with them yet. Also they'd be forgiven for feeling a tad irked by the fact that he already has the Greek Job, Italian Job and Spanish Job renovation shows on the Beeb with his pal Amanda."

The insider also suggested Alan's Disney+ programme bears "a flavour of The Traitors" due to its castle setting, whilst Prime Video "completes the line-up of jobs with the big three streamers". The Daily Express has reached out to represenatives of Alan for comment.

This revelation comes after Alan and Amanda disclosed they declined the opportunity to host Strictly Come Dancing. BBC viewers have been eager to discover who will succeed Claudia Winkleman and Tess Daly for this year's series following their exit announcement in October 2025.

During an appearance on Jessie and Lennie Ware's podcast Table Manners, Alan confirmed that they had "said no" to the Strictly presenting role "ages ago". Amanda already clarified on her radio programme: "I want to say now that me and Alan are 100 per cent not doing Strictly."

She emphasised: "We are so flattered to be in that mix. We both are not doing it."

Celebrity Traitors and Strictly Come Dancing are both available to stream on BBC iPlayer
