what materials are needed
Spinach- 250 grams (finely chopped)
Black gram – 1 cup (soaked overnight and boiled)
Onion-2 medium (finely chopped)
Curd- half cup
Ginger-garlic paste- 1 tbsp
Turmeric
chilli powder
coriander powder
garam masala
Salt
Cumin
Asafoetida
Oil/Ghee – 2 tbsp
How to make spinach-gram curry
To make spinach gram curry, first boil the spinach.
Now filter it and put it in mixer grinder, add half a bowl of curd on top and stir.
Once the paste is ready, take it out in a bowl.
On the other hand, turn on the gas and place a pan on it and add 2 spoons of mustard oil in it.
After heating, add cumin, asafoetida, onion, green chilli and ginger-garlic paste and cook till it turns golden brown.
Now add red chilli, garam masala, coriander, turmeric and salt and mix.
Also add a little water and fry for 3-4 minutes, until the masala starts releasing oil.
After this add spinach and curd puree and cover and cook for 5 minutes.
Now add pressure cooked black gram and Kasuri methi to it and stir.
After cooking for 2 minutes, turn off the gas and serve.
