Let us tell you that Deputy Chief Minister Ajit Pawar has died in a plane crash today. He was 66 years old. His jet going from Mumbai to Baramati crashed during landing. It caught fire. Five people including him died in this accident. The whole of Maharashtra is in shock due to the death of Ajit Pawar.
Ajit Pawar had left for Mumbai for a program in the morning. When his private plane was preparing to land at Baramati airport. Then information was received that there was a technical fault in the plane. The plane caught fire at some distance from the runway. After this the plane collided with the ground. Immediately the rescue team reached the spot. However, the fire was so severe that no one could be saved.
Ajit Pawar's family has given information about the darshan of his mortal remains and the last rites. The family told that his mortal remains will be cremated in Baramati. The mortal remains will be kept for last darshan at Vidya Pratishthan located at Vidya Nagari Chowk on Wednesday from 4 pm onwards. People will be able to have their last glimpse till late tonight.
After this, the last journey will start from Gadima Hall at 9 am on Thursday. This yatra will pass through Vidya Pratisthan Chowk and Bhigwan Road Service Road. After this, the last rites will be performed with state honors in the Vidya Pratisthan premises between 11 am to 12 noon.
