Vivo V50 Zeiss Camera — Smartphone giant Vivo has launched the new Vivo V50 in the Indian market under its popular V-series. This device has been introduced as a ‘pocket studio’ for photography enthusiasts. The company claims that it is the thinnest smartphone in the segment that comes with a large battery of 6,000mAh.
The biggest feature of Vivo V50 is its camera system, which has been developed in collaboration with German optics giant Zeiss. A 50MP primary sensor (with OIS support) and a 50MP ultra-wide secondary camera are provided on the rear panel of the device. There is also a 50MP auto-focus camera on the front for selfies.
Vivo’s signature Aura Light has also been upgraded in the camera module, which helps in clicking professional portraits in low light. In terms of video, this phone supports 4K video recording from both front and rear cameras.
For long backup, it has a 6,000mAh BlueVolt battery. To charge it, a 90W flashcharger is available in the box. The company claims that the user can get hours of talk time in just 10 minutes of charging.
Vivo V50 has been launched in three colors – Titanium Grey, Rose Red, and Starry Night. Its starting price has been kept at ₹ 34,999 for 8GB + 128GB variant. The price of the top model (12GB+512GB) goes up to ₹40,999. Customers will be able to buy it from e-commerce sites Amazon, Flipkart and offline retail stores.
