How to share data selectively using the new Aadhaar app?
- First, download and install the new Aadhaar app on your phone.
- After the app is installed, open it on your Android or iOS device.
- Now complete the registration using your Aadhaar number, mobile number, and Face ID.
- After registration, select the Selective Share option from the options displayed on the screen.
- Then decide which details you want to share and tap on Share Custom ID.
- Now you will see only the Aadhaar details on the screen that you have chosen to share.
- If you want to add or remove any information, tap on the back arrow in the upper left corner, make the necessary changes, and click on Share Custom ID again.
- Once all the selected details look correct, press the Share button to proceed.
- Now choose the sharing method, such as WhatsApp, message, email, or any other option. Next, enter the details of the person you want to send the information to and tap the Send button.
- It's important to note that the Aadhaar information shared using this method is sent in ZIP format.
