Singapore-based real estate agency PropertyLimBrothers confirmed that its co-founder and CEO Melvin Lim and vice-president of strategy Grayce Tan have stepped down, but refused to comment on their alleged affair.

A spokesperson for the company said the leadership changes followed an “internal review following recent events,” as quoted by Mothership.

“We are in the midst of reinforcing our workplace conduct policies and governance processes to reaffirm clear professional boundaries and standards across the organisation,” PLB said.

The firm also said on Wednesday that an interim CEO has been appointed after the review.

“We will not comment on rumours or speculation. Our business operations and client services continue as usual,” it added.

The response follows a wave of online speculation over the weekend about an affair between Lim and Tan, who are both married but not to each other. Lim also has four children.

Lim is known for his home tour videos, which often draw more than 20,000 views, while Tan has built a following of over 190,000 on Instagram under the handle @babygrayce.

The rumors gained traction after a post in Reddit’s r/SingaporeInfluencers forum on Sunday asked about the relationship between the two, The Straits Times reported.

Users chimed in with photos and Glassdoor reviews to the pair, as well as a video said to have been filmed from an office unit opposite Lim’s. The clip allegedly recorded moaning sounds and appeared to show Lim and Tan leaving the former’s office together afterward.

On Monday, a screenshot also surfaced of a supposed private WhatsApp message from Lim to staff, in which he apologized for his “personal mistake” and announced that both he and Tan had resigned, according to AsiaOne.

Their names have been removed from the company’s leadership website as at Tuesday.

Lim started PLB in 2017 with Adrian Lim, whom he met in 2004 while they were training as prison officers with the Singapore Prison Service. The agency touts itself as the first to adopt home tour videos.
