Actually, the action of right-arm off-break bowler Tariq is not like that of normal spinners. He pauses a bit before throwing the ball and then brings his hand from the side instead of over the shoulder. This is just like any person throwing a stone. But he is not the first player to bowl like this, rather it is similar to the way Lasith Malinga used to bowl. Kedar Jadhav and Riyan Parag have also been bowling like this from India.
