Kartik Aaryan wraps Mumbai schedule, gears up for three-week Delhi shoot of 'Naagzilla

Karan Johar ’s ‘ Naagzilla ’, featuring Kartik Aaryan , marks his first venture into the creature comedy genre and has already generated massive buzz. As per the latest update, Kartik is aiming to finish shooting the film by February 2026. With the Mumbai schedule wrapped up, the actor is set to travel to Delhi this month for a three-week shoot.
Kartik Aaryan completes 70 percent of ‘Naagzilla’
According to the Bollywood Hungama, Director Mrighdeep Singh Lamba shot a month-long schedule in Mumbai with Kartik Aaryan. Yesterday, on January 31, the Mumbai schedule was wrapped up. 70% of the shoot is now complete. The team of ‘Naagzilla’ is heading to Delhi this month, that is, February 2026, where a three-week-long schedule will take place. The completion of the Delhi leg will mark the wrap of the film. ‘Naagzilla’ went on floors on November 1, 2025, and within four months, the shoot will be wrapped up..The report also stated that this was a challenging and one-of-a-kind film, and in between, Kartik went all out to promote his Christmas release, ‘Tu Meri Main Tera Main Tera Tu Meri’ (2025; also produced by Karan Johar). At the same time, he gave more than a hundred percent to ‘Naagzilla’ as well.
Reportedly, once the shoot is completed, Lamba’s complete focus will be on post-production and ensuring that their labour of love turns out to be an exciting and fascinating piece of cinema for the audiences.
Kartik Aaryan’s look as an ichchadhari naag revealed
In ‘Naagzilla’, Kartik will be seen as Preyamvadeshwar Pyare Chand, an Ichchadhari Naag. The actor’s first look from the film was unveiled in April 2025. ‘Naagzilla’ backed by top producers
Backed by Karan Johar, Mahaveer Jain, Adar Poonawalla , Apoorva Mehta, Mrighdeep Singh Lamba, and Sujit Jain. While the makers have kept the plot details under wraps for now, the film is slated to hit theatres on August 14, 2026.
