Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor's lie about when he cut off his friendship with Jeffrey Epstein has been described as "total cobblers". The 65-year-old, who recently moved out of Royal Lodge, is facing further controversy as the latest Epstein files have been released.
Speaking about Andrew on the latest episode of Daily Expresso, host JJ Anisiobi highlighted that the new files showed that Andrew invited Epstein to Buckingham Palace after the child sex offender was released from house arrest.
He said: "Andrew invited Epstein to Buckingham Palace after Epstein was released after being charged with child sex offences."
He added that Andrew knew about Epstein's offences when he went to visit him in New York City to end their friendship.
Discussing the "lie", as the pair exchanged emails months later, Mr Anisiobi added: "That was all cobblers then, that was all cobblers."
It was previously reported that Andrew claimed he ended his friendship with Epstein in December 2010.
However, leaked documents show that in February 2011 - which is three months after he claimed to have broken off the relationship - Andrew sent an email to Epstein stating they were "in this together" and expressed a desire to "play some more soon".
Mr Anisiobi: "He was happy to invite [Epstein], a known paedophile to Buckingham Palace in the months after he came out of jail."
He then added that people are now saying that Andrew should be "extradited" and should fly over to the US to "testify".
The host then added that even Keir Starmer, whom he describes as "spineless", has said that Andrew should "go over [to the US] and testify".
Andrew has denied all wrongdoing.
The former prince looked miserable as he was seen driving around the Windsor estate before going out for a horse-ride earlier today.
Wrapped warm in a coat and wearing a riding helmet, the King's disgraced brother looked sour faced as he rode through the Windsor estate.
The files also included emails sent by the former prince to Epstein, as well as photographs of what appears to show Andrew on all fours next to a fully-dressed woman on the floor.
