'I've been friends with Sarah Ferguson for years - there's more to come out about her'

The release of the latest batch of Epstein files has sparked fresh criticism for Sarah Ferguson. The former Duchess of York, 66, is mentioned in several emails that appear in the newly released files, which were made public at the end of January. In one email, Sarah made a bizarre comment about her daughter Princess Eugenie, telling disgraced sex offender Jeffrey Epstein that she was waiting for her to get back from a sh*****g weekend. In another, Fergie asked Epstein to "marry" her and also thanked him for being like a "brother" to her.

These emails were all sent after Epstein was convicted of procuring a child for prostitution and of soliciting a prostitute. Despite constantly backing Sarah, Lizzy Cundy has now publicly turned her back on her friend and warned that there is more to come. Speaking on Jeremy Vine, Lizzy said she has not spoken to Sarah recently and admitted she feels "let down" after learning she had lied about the reasons for contacting Epstein.

"I read the statement out on this show and it isn't the truth. We're seeing more and more of these emails, sadly, where she's been very much in touch with Jeffrey Epstein," Lizzy, 57, said.

She described it as a "horror show" and "absolutely horrific" for the victims as well as Sarah's two daughters, who are "disgusted and embarrassed" by their parents' association with the sex offender.

While Beatrice, 37, has reportedly more understanding about what has gone on, Lizzy claimed Eugenie, 35, is not speaking to her mother and has cut ties with her father, Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor.

"It feels like Andrew and Sarah have done a deal with the devil. He is toxic beyond the grave. This is not going away and there is more to come," Lizzy claimed.

She went on to suggest Sarah appears on Jeremy Vine to give an open and honest interview.

"We need to hear the truth. I've stuck up for her and I feel I've been hoodwinked in someways," the TV personality added. "For everyone's sake, let her speak her truth and the real truth."

In the three million documents from the Epstein files that were released by the US government, Sarah also appeared to criticise the Royal Family.

She told Epstein: "No woman has ever left the Royal family with her head". The mum-of-two wrote to the late financier via email in July 2010, telling him that she was being "hung out to dry".

Just two months earlier, Sarah had been caught in a tabloid sting, appearing to agree to cash-for-access to Andrew, and had also taken part in a television interview with US host Oprah Winfrey.

In an exchange with Epstein in July, she wrote: "Have you died on me? Don't... Please you are my pillar."

She then told him she needed a place to stay, adding that the UK press would have her "exiled".
