Bihar Board: There's big news for all former students who have completed their 10th and 12th grades from the Bihar School Examination Board (BSEB). Students who have passed their 10th and 12th exams from BSEB can now easily get their photos changed on their mark sheets and certificates. BSEB has made a major change in the rules for this. BSEB has taken this decision considering the difficulties faced by former students in this regard. BSEB has issued instructions in this matter.

Let's find out what the process has been until now for students who passed their 10th and 12th exams from BSEB to get their photos changed on their mark sheets and certificates? We will also learn about the new rules for changing photos.
This was the rule for changing photos until now.
Until now, BSEB followed a specific rule for changing the photos of former students on their 10th and 12th mark sheets and certificates. According to this rule, for a change in the photo of former students, the photo had to be correct in any two of the documents issued by BSEB, such as the registration card, admit card, mark sheet, or certificate. After this, the photo was changed in the database. However, BSEB says that it has come to its notice that the photos of many former students are not correct in any of their documents. Because of this, such former students are facing various difficulties.

Now the photo will be changed on the principal's letterhead.
BSEB has changed the rules for changing photos on the 10th and 12th mark sheets and certificates. BSEB has said that this decision has been taken with the aim of making the photo correction process more transparent and error-free. Under the new rules, the photo can now be changed through a letter from the school principal.  This letter, on the school principal's letterhead, must include the current photo and the photo from the year of the examination, and must be countersigned by the concerned District Education Officer before being sent to the BSEB (Bihar School Examination Board).  The BSEB will then initiate the process of changing the photo.
