New Delhi. Prime Minister Narendra Modi was scheduled to speak in the Lok Sabha at 5 pm on the motion of thanks on the President’s address, but due to the loud uproar, the proceedings of the House could not proceed. Due to the huge uproar, Presiding Officer Sandhya Rai announced the adjournment of the Lok Sabha proceedings for the day and the PM’s address was postponed.
Now BJP has made serious allegations against the opposition regarding this. After the adjournment of the Lok Sabha proceedings, BJP MP Manoj Tiwari has alleged that people from the opposition had climbed up to the place where the Prime Minister sits. He said that the women members of the opposition surrounded the PM’s chair and their intention was to attack the Prime Minister. Manoj Tiwari accused the opposition members of creating ruckus in the House. He claimed that our senior minister explained to the women MPs of the opposition and requested them to go back, saying that the Prime Minister cannot come in such a situation, but the women MPs were not ready to listen. Manoj Tiwari claimed that the opposition MPs had come with a fighting attitude.
At the same time, Lok Janshakti Party (Ram Vilas) MP Rajesh Verma led by NDA member Chirag Paswan has also given a statement regarding the developments in the Lok Sabha. Rajesh Verma has said that some opposition MPs were running with banners and posters in their hands as if they were on the road. He alleged that the opposition MPs created such an environment that we resort to scuffle.
LJPR MP Rajesh Verma said that after the adjournment of the House, the women MPs of the opposition moved towards the treasury bench. He said that the opposition women MPs reached two rows behind where the PM sits and started moving towards Nishikant Dubey. Ashwini Vaishnav and other ministers started explaining to her, but the woman MP was moving ahead. Later Congress’s Deependra Hooda asked everyone to come back.
