JEE Main 2026 session 1 answer key released; raise objection by February 6

New Delhi: The National Testing Agency (NTA) has released the Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) Main answer key 2026 session 1 today, February 4. The JEE Main provisional answer key 2026 is available for download on the official website, jeemain.nta.nic.in. Candidates can submit objections against the JEE Main answer key till February 6 (11:50 PM).

Along with the answer key, NTA also published the JEE Main response sheet and question papers. With the provisional answer key, candidates can calculate the probable scores. The application number and password are required to log in and download the answer key.

JEE Main Session 1 Answer Key: Steps to download

  • Step 1: First of all, go to the official NTA JEE website, jeemain.nta.nic.in
  • Step 2: Next, on the homepage, click on the ‘JEE Main 2026 Session 1 Response Sheet’ link on the homepage.
  • Step 3: The login page appears where candidates need to enter the application number, password and captcha.
  • Step 4: After submitting the credentials, the question-wise status and selected option IDs appear on the screen.
  • Step 5: Download the JEE Main session 1 answer key and response sheet PDF.

JEE Main session 1 result 2026

The JEE Main Session 1 result 2026 will be released on February 12. The JEE result will be in the form of JEE scorecard it will have the candidate’s details, scores, ranks, percentile and other information. ALong with the result, the JEE Main 2026 topper list will be made available. The authority conducted the NTA JEE Main 2026 session 1 exam between January 21 to January 29, 2026.

The JEE Main April session 2026 exam will be held between April 2 to April 9, 2026. Those who get placed among the top 2.5 lakh IIT JEE rank holders will be eligible to appear for JEE Advanced. The qualified candidates then need to register for the JoSAA counselling for admission to the National Institutes of Technologies (NITs), Indian Institute of Information Technologies (IIITs) and Government Funded Technical Institutes (GFTIs).
