Hong Kong actress Karena Ng, who recently married businessman Brian Sze, says discreet pressure from her in-laws to have children has made her feel stressed.
After returning from a 10-day trip to Antarctica, Ng attended an event by television network TVB on Tuesday, according to local news outlet HK01.
She was seen with long hair, wearing a sparkling black halter-neck gown with a deep slit. Her fuller figure drew attention and sparked pregnancy rumors.

Responding to the speculation, Ng said she had gained weight during the Antarctica trip and that the dress was tight. She denied being pregnant and rejected claims that she was trying to conceive. She said she had considered freezing her eggs but felt it was not the right time.
When asked whether her husband’s family was rushing her to have children, Ng said there was no explicit pressure but that she was being subtly urged.
Ng had previously faced speculation about wanting children after she was seen visiting Mount Putuo in Zhejiang Province in China, a site associated with fertility prayers.
Sze said they intend to have children but that timing depends on Ng’s work schedule, adding that her views should be respected.
