Eyewitness Account Raises Alarm

According to a resident living in another tower of the housing society, unusual activity was noticed late at night. The witness reported seeing someone sitting near a balcony or window ledge, leaning backward repeatedly, which seemed concerning. Moments later, two more children approached the person. The witness stated that it appeared one of them tried to hold the others, but all three lost their balance and fell simultaneously. The resident immediately contacted the police, ambulance services, and housing authorities, leading to a rapid response from emergency teams.

Family Structure and Living Conditions

The three sisters resided in flat number 907 in the B-1 Tower of the residential complex. They lived with their father, who works as a foreign exchange trader, along with their two mothers, who are sisters, and other siblings. Neighbors described the girls as extremely close, often seen moving around the complex together and rarely interacting separately. Residents also mentioned that the family generally maintained privacy and limited interaction with others in the society.

Investigation Reveals Diary and Handwritten Notes

During the investigation, police officers discovered a diary inside a locked prayer room within the apartment. The diary contained approximately 18 handwritten pages, which authorities believe served as a suicide note. The entries included repeated apologies directed mainly toward their father and references to their strong emotional attachment to a mobile-based Korean game. Investigators also found scattered family photographs and drawings in the diary, including a crying illustration, which suggested emotional distress.

One of the messages reportedly expressed regret to the parents and mentioned an inability to stop playing the game. The entries consistently used collective expressions, indicating that the sisters shared similar thoughts and emotional struggles.

Mobile Usage and Cultural Influence Under Scrutiny

Police officials stated that preliminary findings suggest the girls were deeply influenced by Korean entertainment, including cinema, music, and gaming culture. Authorities believe the sisters had developed excessive dependence on mobile phones over the past few years. However, investigators clarified that no evidence has been found linking the deaths to any structured online gaming challenge or task-based digital activity.

The father informed investigators that his daughters had been heavily engaged in mobile gaming for nearly three years. He further stated that they had stopped attending school for approximately two years and spent most of their time using digital devices. According to the family, the girls frequently expressed a desire to visit South Korea, reflecting their cultural fascination.

Events Leading to the Tragedy

Police reconstruction of the incident suggests that the household had gone to bed before midnight. Around 12:30 a.m., the girls were last seen with their mothers before moving into the prayer room and locking the door from inside. Investigators believe that the family had recently restricted their mobile phone usage, which may have caused emotional distress among the sisters.

The father stated that he and his wife were asleep in another room when they heard a loud sound. After failing to open the locked prayer room, they broke the door and discovered the girls were missing. The family then rushed downstairs, where they found the sisters lying on the ground.

Forensic Examination and Ongoing Probe

Authorities have sent the bodies for post-mortem examination to determine further details surrounding the incident. Mobile phones recovered from the locked room have been seized and are currently undergoing forensic analysis. Police officials confirmed that the investigation is ongoing and additional findings may emerge following technical examination of the devices.

The incident has sparked discussions within the residential community about children’s digital habits, mental well-being, and parental monitoring. Residents and local authorities continue to mourn the loss while seeking clarity on how such a tragedy unfolded.
