In the Women's Premier League (WPL) final at the BCA Stadium, the Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) won the toss and chose to field first against the Delhi Capitals (DC). RCB, led by Smriti Mandhana, is the reigning champion, while the Delhi franchise is making its fourth consecutive appearance in the finals.
Smriti Mandhana expressed confidence in their decision, stating, "We'd like to field first today, as it's been the trend throughout the tournament. We are maintaining the same lineup. The break was beneficial, and we practiced together in the last few days. We are all set for the challenge ahead, and the excitement is palpable."
